Wotton House
Wotton House, situated in Dorking, Surrey, is a splendid wedding venue. Nestled amidst beautifully maintained gardens, it boasts the UK’s first-ever Italian gardens. Moreover, the enchanting secret walled gardens, temples, ponds, and streams combine harmoniously to provide a picturesque backdrop for your special celebrations. This venue is up there with my all time favourite venues, those Italian Gardens enchant me every time I’m there.
Coltsford Mill
Coltsford Mill presents a unique blend of a traditional rural barn wedding location and a sophisticated modern touch. It is adorned with abundant natural light and boasts breathtaking panoramic vistas of 12 acres of picturesque Surrey countryside. The venue is further enhanced by two magnificent lakes and cascading waterfalls, which are supplied by the river Eden. I visited this wonderful venue on consecutive weekends last year and both glorious sunny days.
Gate Street Barn
Tucked away in the idyllic Surrey Hills, south of Guildford, Surrey, Gate Street is a dreamy venue that sets the perfect stage for weddings and milestone events. This delightful property, run by a warm-hearted family, doubles as a working farm where you’ll find English Longhorn cattle, Lleyn Sheep, and Mangalitsa Pigs. For over 20 years, the barn and its scenic surroundings have witnessed countless unforgettable celebrations, creating cherished memories for all who visit.
Phoenice Fields – Fiesta Fields
Discover the enchanting Phoenice Fields, situated in the picturesque Norbury Park reserve. This hidden gem is located within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a delightful combination of woodland, grassland, and idyllic farmland.
Barnett Hill Hotel
Barnett Hill, situated on a hill in the picturesque Surrey Hills, is an exquisite wedding venue. As you make your way up the winding, tree-lined drive, you’ll be captivated by the grandeur of this Queen Anne-style mansion. Nestled on 26 acres of meticulously maintained lawns, it offers a perfect blend of modern elegance and timeless charm. With its stunning contemporary interiors complemented by original friezes and features, Barnett Hill is an extraordinary setting for a truly unforgettable wedding celebration.
Morden Hall
Enveloped by the sweeping landscapes of National Trust parkland and adorned with tranquil private gardens that line the serene River Wandle, Morden Hall in Surrey is a captivating wedding venue. This exquisite country house exudes elegance amidst its picturesque parkland setting, providing a perfect sanctuary for your unforgettable wedding day.
Pembroke Lodge
A favourite of mine, I’ve photographed here many times before and twice in 2023. One of the highlights of having a wedding at Pembroke Lodge is the opportunity to embrace nature’s beauty. The lodge is nestled within Richmond Park, a sprawling oasis that offers a stunning natural landscape. From vibrant wildflowers to ancient oak trees, the park sets an enchanting stage for your special day. In the springtime, the vibrant colours of blooming flowers create a magical atmosphere, while the golden hues of autumn add a touch of rustic charm. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, Pembroke Lodge allows you to immerse yourself in nature’s embrace.
Bury Court
Nestled in the picturesque Hampshire countryside, Bury Court Barn seamlessly combines the charm of old oak beams with state-of-the-art modern amenities. Its captivating contemporary walled garden offers a serene haven, perfect for relishing in peaceful moments and cherished privacy. I had two weddings here in 2023.
Micklefield Hall
Micklefield Hall is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Hertfordshire. This lovingly restored Grade II listed mansion boasts breathtaking architecture and enchanting gardens. The moment you step foot on the grounds, you’ll be captivated by the splendor and charm that Micklefield Hall offers.
