Devil's Punch Bowl Engagement Shoot

There’s nothing better than a fresh walk in the stunning Surrey countryside on a Sunday morning. And even better when you get to take amazing engagement photos with wonderful couples like Lydia and Alexander. Their Devil’s Punch Bowl engagement shoot location is an area of outstanding natural beauty near the village of Hindhead in Surrey. This is a spot very well know to bride-to-be Lydia as it’s nearby where she grew up and somewhere the couple had enjoyed walks many times. It was a cold, wet and very muddy February day but they were not phased and keen to get out and take the photos. So we donned our walking boots and headed out into to explore. Alexander and Lydia were both really relaxed, they didn’t seem nervous at all about having their photo taken (at least they didn’t show it!). The scenery was stunning with spectacular views, it was a great choice of location. As we walked we talked about their upcoming wedding in April, which is going to be a marquee on the grounds of Lydia’s former school . I love hearing about how couples plans come together and all the personal details that go into the day. It’s such a special time when you’re engaged, a time like no other in your life and you have to embrace every second of that magical feeling. Alexander and Lydia are a very warm and caring couple and it was lovely to get to know them better before their wedding day. Their relaxed nature really comes out in the photos, they look so comfortable and happy together and that shines through. We had a brilliant engagement shoot and I’m super excited for their wedding in a few months time!!!
