Christine and Craig had their micro wedding in December amidst the coronavirus pandemic and it was just perfect. The winter sun was shining all day long and gave us the most beautiful light for the photos. The 15 guests were made up of immediate family and best friends so this was a very personal day to the couple. The venue was Henley Business School, a grand white build with rolling lawns set on the banks of the River Thames. The groom Craig arrived with the guests and they entered the building wearing personalised face masks which were handmade by the mother-of-the-bride. Once inside the guests gathered in bar area, all separated out on tables to adhere to the restrictions giving each other a wave from across the room. Shortly after the Christine arrived in a charming vintage wedding car with her father, a special moment for her. Her dress was beautiful and she looked absolutely stunning. The guests were seated one by one for the ceremony where a very nervous Craig waited at the front. This point in any wedding is always a nerve racking one for the groom. It’s the moment reality kicks in, all eyes are on them and the emotion overwhelms. But it’s only short lived as everything eases once they see their beautiful bride walking down the aisle. And this was the case for Craig when he saw the biggest smile on Christine’s face coming towards him. The ceremony was brief due to the restrictions but it wholly covered all the important parts and the magic words were spoken. With only a few people in the room the focus was entirely on the love these two wonderful people and it was a very special occasion. After the ceremony the newlyweds followed by their guests returned to the bar for drinks and canapés. Christine and Craig nipped out quickly and went for a little drive up and down the road in their wedding car then we headed outside for the photos. The sun had been out all day and was just beginning to go down delivering us the glorious golden hour light for their couple photos. It had been such a calm and personal day and this really reflected in their photos. They laughed and smiled together so naturally it was clear to see their true love for each other shining through. Back inside and it was time for the wedding breakfast, but just before they cut they cake as their final formality and there is where I left them to enjoy the rest of their day. Christine and Craig’s micro wedding was small and perfectly formed. It had all the elements that make a wedding special done it a very intimate and personal setting. Huge congratulations to Christine and Craig xx

Kind Words from the couple –

Lynsey was an absolutely amazing photographer. She managed to capture every single moment of the day, even the smallest of moments and all the tears, laughter and joy. There is not one photo we don’t love. We will honestly treasure these photos forever. Even though we had a small wedding due to Covid Lynsey still made sure she captured everything.
