With an abundance of fabulous Surrey wedding venues you really are spoilt for choice. Here are some of my favourite venues throughout the county that I’ve been lucky enough to photograph at many times and that offer so much as your perfect wedding venue.

Wotton House
Wotton House is a country estate 17th century Mansion hotel with the most incredible Grade II listed Italian Gardens. What I love about this venue is that it offers so much both inside and out. With the option to have your ceremony either in The Old Library or the Italian Gardens it really is the best of both worlds.
The Old Library with it’s vaulted ceilings, 17th century pillars and marble fireplaces is a unique and whimsical setting for the ceremony. Natural light fills the room through the stone Gothic windows and history comes to life with ancient Latin phrases written on the walls.
The Italian Gardens and temple were the first of their kind in England. The owner John Evelyn was passionate about botanicals and arboriculture, inspired by the Italian Renaissance of his travels he constructed the gardens on the estate.
The wedding breakfast is held in The Evelyn Suite which is a bright modern room with a natural palette looking out onto the gardens.
The Italian Gardens at this venue are a photographers dream, there is no backdrop quite like it in the area, I will never tire of photographing here!
Loseley Park
This incredible Elizabethan Mansion is located 3 miles south of Guildford in acres of glorious rolling countryside. You approach the house down a long winding drive surrounded by beautiful parkland, giving the venue a real sense of grandeur. The house is privately owned and in steeped in over 500 years of history.
Ceremony’s take place in the Great Hall, a spectacular wood panelled room with historical portraits adorning the walls. With access to an elegant drawing room at the back for photos after the ceremony.
Reception drinks are in the stunning three acre wall garden which is just heavenly. With plenty of room for guests to move around and enjoy the gardens.
The reception then moves on the 17th century Tithe Barn on the other side of the house. The venue also boasts a bridal dressing room and over accommodation for bride & groom.
For me personally Loseley Park is a truly unique wedding venue that offers exclusive use of this stunning location. If you like a bit of history then this one is definitely for you!
(I may be a little bias with this one as Loseley Park is where I had my own wedding reception and I just adore it.)
The Barn at Botley Hill
Situated in the rolling North Downs, The Barn at Botley Hill is a rustic contemporary venue in the Surrey countryside. This purpose built wedding venue is only a few years old and everything is catered towards your perfect wedding day.
Ceremony’s take place in The Oakley Barn which is a rustic red brick barn with natural light that seats up to 140 guests.
The reception is held in the main barn which is built from traditional black timber and features exposed steel beams. The Barn’s most unique feature is the floor to ceiling windows looking over the rolling hills which flood the room with dynamic light. Surrounding the barn is a terrace and landscaped gardens with breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets.
The venue also includes onsite accommodation is the form of luxury shepherd huts for that unique countryside experience.
If you’re looking for a contemporary venue with perfect golden hour photography opportunities then you won’t find better than The Barn at Botley Hill!
Northbrook Park
So technically this isn’t a Surrey venue as it’s in Hampshire but it’s right on the Surrey border so I’m including it! Set in 120 acres of serene countryside is the historic grade-II listed, 18th Century manor house surrounded by immaculate gardens. The estate grounds feature walled gardens, lakes, manicured hedges and exotic birdlife.
Civil ceremony’s are held in The Vine Room, a classically elegant room with crystal chandeliers, a marble and large french windows allowing lots of natural light.
The reception is in The Orangery which can seat up to 250 guests. The walls are bear brick with glass doors leading out to the quintessential wall garden.
The venues also includes onsite accommodation for bride & groom and 10 mews houses that can be exclusively booked for guests.
You are utterly spoilt for choice with photography locations at this venue, it really is a photographers dream.
Farnham castle
Farnham Castle has been standing on the hill overlooking the market town for nearly 900 years. Stooped in history the castle has been visited by various Kings and Queens over the years and certainly brings that regal flare.
For the morning preparations The Gatehouse provides the perfect space for all your hair and markup needs, and The Pembroke is a stylish room for the Groom to dress and relax before the main event.
There are plenty of options when it comes to the ceremony with the choice of four licensed rooms for civil weddings and two private chapels for religious ceremonies. And if that’s not enough you can choose to get married on The Great Lawn or East Lawn.
Reception drinks are on the lawn and Tindle Bar then it’s on The Great Hall for the wow factor. A large banqueting hall with natural light and high ceilings fit for royalty!
This stunning venue offers so much no matter the season, the castle really does have everything covered!
