I love capturing fun group wedding photos, it’s a time to be playful and enjoy having your photo taken.

Group photos are a really important part of wedding photography. They include your nearest and dearest and often the photos that get actually printed and framed. The key to this element of the day is to not have too many. I tell my wedding couples to list 8 group photos as I find that’s the perfect number to get the right balance. Though they are essential photos they shouldn’t take up too much time. I always have the list of photos ordered so that I can work through them as quickly and efficiently as possible so you can get back to enjoying time with your guests.

Group photos are more traditional style photos and do take organisation but that doesn’t mean you just have to stand still trying to hold your smile. It’s a time to be silly, be posy, laugh with your family and friends. Make the photos as relaxed, fun, silly, crazy as you and your wedding day.
